The Secretary of Health is informing that with the beginning of the rain will increase the breeding ground for mosquitoes that transmit dengue. Mosquitoes larva is formed especially where clean water is stored whether in a deposit or recipient. Carry out the following preventive actions in order to cut transmission cycles.
The Secretary of Health is informing that with the beginning of the rain will increase the breeding ground for mosquitoes that transmit dengue. Mosquitoes larva is formed especially where clean water is stored whether in a deposit or recipient. Carry out the following preventive actions in order to cut transmission cycles.
- Use sheets or screens to protect the tanks while collecting rain water which will impede mosquitoes from putting their eggs.
- Cover tightly water tanks, cisterns, and other reservoir.
- Eliminate items or containers in disuse and or in the open air.
- Place indoors tires and bottles.
- Change water in flower vases weekly.
The symptoms of dengue are: high fever, headache, pain in the back of your eyes, joints, and general discomfort. We are recommending the community to consult your doctor when you have one of these symptoms and do not self-medicate
