El investigador y fotógrafo raizal Thomas Mc.Nish (1957-2013), autor de varios libros sobre las aves en Colombia y San Andrés, recibirá este viernes un sentido homenaje por su trabajo inspirado en la conservación y el estudio de dichas especies y sus ecosistemas. El acto se llevará a cabo en el salón cultural del Banco de la República, a partir de las 04:00 p.m.
Native from the Island of San Andres, Industrial Chemical Technician, a nature researcher and photographer, specialized in the Bird of Colombia, author of the following books 'Birds of the Orinoquia Plains'; 'Birds of the Wetlands of Bogota and its Surroundings'; 'The Fauna of the Archipelago of San Andres, Providence and St. Catalina'. And he was working on the 'Birds of the Caribbean Basin' (Aves de la Cuenca del Caribe).
